The Duchess of Sussex visits the Hubb Community Kitchen in North Kensington

Back in September, The Duchess of Sussex revealed she made regular private visits to the Hubb Community Kitchen to meet women from a community of Grenfell survivors who cooked for their families, friends and neighborhood. Meghan helped them create a cookbook entitlted ‘Together: Our Community Cookbook’, which features more than 50 recipies from these women. HRH wrote a 3-page foreword and hosted a launch party at Kensington Palace on September 20.

Today, The Duchess returned to the Hubb Community Kitchen, who got some bit of a revamp with the £210,000 funds raised by the sales of the cookbook (40,000 in the UK alone, more than 10,000 overseas). Upon arrival, she was greeted by Zaheera Sufyaan, the kitchen coordinator. She then helped prepare 200 meals for the day with the community women and Clare Smyth, Meghan’s wedding reception caterer. The ladies got to see together how the funds have helped making a difference in the kitchen. VIDEO
