Meghan Markle (her full name is Rachel Meghan Markle) was born on August 4th, 1981 in Los Angeles, California. Her parents are Thomas Markle Sr., a retired lighting director and Doria Ragland, a social worker. Meghan graduated from Northwestern University in 2003 and returned to the campus in 2014 for a special Q&A on the new season of ‘Suits’.
Up until November 2017, Meghan was an actress whose most successfull work was the USA Network TV Series ‘Suits’, where she played paralegal-turned lawyer Rachel Zane. She guest-starred on TV shows such as ‘Fringe’, ‘CSI: NY’, and ‘Castle’. Some of her movie roles include small parts in ‘Get Him to the Greek’, ‘Remember Me’, ‘Horrible Bosses 2’ and a lead role in ‘Anti-Social’.
She was previously married to producer Trevor Engelson from 2011 to 2013. Her marriage to Prince Harry will be her second marriage. On May 19th, 2018 she became Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Sussex following her wedding to Prince Harry.
