The Royal Family Celebrates The 100th Anniversary of The Royal Air Force

Today is a special day in British Military history because they celebrate the 100th anniversary of the creation of the Royal Air Force (even though the exact date is April 1st). For the occasion, The Royal Family attended a church service at Westminster Abbey, before witnessing a Presentation of the Colours on the grounds of Buckingham Palace. Following the parade, the family made their way to the balcony to witness the flypast. This is the second time that Meghan, Duchess of Sussex gets to be on the balcony, following Trooping The Colour last June.

For the celebrations, The Duchess of Sussex wore a navy Dior dress and heels with a Stephen Jones hat (who also created the hat she wore to Prince Louis’ christening yesterday). Stay put on the website as we begin the Royal Visit in Ireland with The Duke and Duchess of Sussex later today !
