The Duke & Duchess of Sussex Visit Australia – Day 4: Sydney

The Duke & Duchess of Sussex are back in Sydney for a few days as the Invictus Games will begin on Saturday ! They began their day at Bondi Beach, one of Australia’s most famous beaches, for a ‘Fluro Friday’ session with OneWave. OneWave is surfing community focussing on subjects like depression, anxiety, and being bipolar. Harry & Meghan joined an ‘anti-bad vibes’ circle and shared their experience with mental health before watching some surfers. Then they greeted the public before leaving the beach. Baby Sussex again received lots of gifts. VIDEO


For their next engagement the couple decided to surprise students from the Macarthur Girls High School in western Sydney. Their first watched girls perform a dance routine named ‘The Power of Love’. Then they entered the school’s library to talk with the students about their Year Nine Project, in which they are investigating issues of social justice such as women and female empowerment. VIDEO


Meghan didn’t join Harry on the Sydney Harbour Bridge to fly the Invictus Games Flag, but they reunited to meet with the Leader of the Opposition Bill Shorten and his wife at Admiralty House, before popping next door at Kirribilli House and meeting Prime Minister Scott Morrison and his wife.
