The Duke & Duchess spent their last day in Sydney in activities involving the Invictus Games. Meghan was supposed to join Harry in the morning to watch the Road Cycling Trials, but because the Opening Ceremony lasted two hours longer than expected, the Duchess felt the need to cut back on some engagements and rest. Let’s not forget she is pregnant after all ! Kensington Palace have also confirmed that while she will join Harry at Fraser Island tomorrow, she will not take part in the engagements, meaning she will resume her activites in Fiji.
Still, Meghan and Harry attended a lunchtime reception hosted by Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison at The Pavillion Restaurant. They were joined by Invictus Games competitors and got to meet young children. VIDEO
In the afternoon, the couple attended the sailing trials at Farm Corve, on Sydney Harbour. The Duke & Duchess took some time to meet the competitors and looked like they had a really good time ! VIDEO
Finally, in the evening, the couple attended a reception at Government House for the Invictus Games Foundation. Competitors and their family were in attendance.
The Duke & Duchess of Sussex will return to Sydney on October 27 to attend the Wheelchair Basketball Finals and the Closing Ceremony.
