Every since their engagement last year, Harry & Meghan have been living in Nottingham Cottage on the grounds of Kensington Palace. Following their wedding, and the announcement that the Duchess is expecting their first child, the couple has decided to move their house from Kensington to Windsor. Early next year, the Duke & Duchess will move in Frogmore Cottage, which is getting some renovations to transform it into a family home rather than a house for the royal staff. Kensington Palace will still be the couple’s official office, as the official statement explains below:
KENSINGTON PALACE – New Official Residence For The Duke & Duchess of Sussex
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will move to Frogmore Cottage on the Windsor Estate early next year as they prepare for the arrival of their first child. The couple have lived at Nottingham Cottage since their engagement last year.
Windsor is a very special place for Their Royal Highnesses and they are grateful that their official residence will be on the estate.
The Duke and Duchess’s office will continue to be based at Kensington Palace.
