She is a former actress and became a full-time member of the British Royal Family on May 19, 2018 when she married Prince Harry at St. George's Chapel in Windsor Castle. This website aims to share the news of Meghan as she embarks on this new journey.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have decided to share more details on their wedding service, happening at St. George’s Chapel on May 19th.
Both Prince Harry and Ms. Markle have taken a great deal of interest and care in choosing the music for their Service, which will include a number of well-known hymns and choral works. The music will be under the direction of James Vivian, Director of Music, St George’s Chapel.
Mr. Vivian said: “The Choristers, Lay Clerks, Organists and I are very much looking forward to this exciting day and are pleased to be performing at the service music chosen by the couple. We are also looking forward to welcoming to St George’s musical colleagues from near and far who will be performing at this very special and joyful occasion.”
Today, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry attended a memorial service at St Martin-in-the-Fields in Trafalgar Square, London to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Stephen Lawrence’s murder. You can find more than 50 photos from the arrivals and the service in the gallery.
Stephen Lawrence was just 19 when he was brutally murdered while waiting for a bus by a racist group. Only two of his five murderers have been convicted for the murder. UK Prime Minister Theresa may has declared April 22 as Stephen Lawrence Day from now on.
Today, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II celebrates her 92nd birthday. For the occasion, a star-studded concert was held at the Royal Albert Hall, and most BRF members attended, Meghan included. She seemed to get along very well with her future in-laws!
Some of the stars who sang for the Queen were Sting, Shaggy, Shawn Mendes and Luke Evans. As for her look, Meghan wore an exquisite Stella McCartney navy blue gown with Manolo Blahnik heels.
Earlier today, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry attended a reception for the forthcoming Invictus Games, which Sydney will host this October. They were joined by the Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull and his wife Lucy.
During this reception, they’ve learned about the plans for the upcoming games, and they were presented with the official jackets.

Tonight, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry attended a Women’s Emporwerment reception hosted by British Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson and his wife at the Royal Aeronautical Society in London. This reception is to launch a new campaign entitled ‘Platform for Girls Education’, which will encourage the Commonwealth to provide quality education for girls for 12 years.
TIME Magazine has released its annual ‘100 Most Influential People’ list. Meghan Markle, as well as her fiancé Prince Harry, are among the honorees. Meghan’s friend Priyanka Chopra presents her in a few words.
Somewhere among biryani, poutine and endless conversations, I realized just how deeply Meghan Markle cares for the world. With her, what you see is real, and what you get is a relatable young woman with her heart and mind in the right place. Her compassion, evident in the causes she supports, and her drive to break down stereotypes—obvious in her actions—will connect her to a generation in much need of kindness.
This ever-smiling, strong free spirit found her prince, fell in love and in turn made a cynical world believe in fairy tales again. But more than anything else, Meghan is an important influencer in a world that needs strong public figures to respect and look up to. People the world can be inspired by. Meghan, standing shoulder to shoulder with Harry, will be a princess for the people.

The Duchess of Sussex, born Meghan Markle, married Prince Harry at St George’s Chapel, Windsor in May 2018. The couple’s official residence is Kensington Palace. As well as undertaking royal duties in support of The Queen, both in the UK and overseas, The Duchess devotes her time to supporting a number of charities and organisations.
From a young age, The Duchess had a keen awareness of social issues and actively participated in charitable work. Aged 11 she successfully campaigned for a company to alter their television advert that had used sexist language to sell washing-up liquid. Her Royal Highness also volunteered at a soup kitchen in Skid Row, Los Angeles from the age of 13-17. She continued to volunteer at the soup kitchen when she would return home to Los Angeles until the age of 22.
The interview happened after the engagement photocall at Kensington Palace.
